The Performing Arts Association’s 3rd installment of its Spring Chapter of Arts on the Move will feature John L Keck on Saturday July 17 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Robidoux Row Museum.
John was born in Peachtree City, Georgia and started life as a southern gentleman; quietly soaking up his early years in the red clay, tall pines and shaded creeks south of Atlanta. His family relocated to the Midwest during his parents divorce to be closer to his mother's family. He spent his formative years fishing and daydreaming on his grandparents farm just outside of St. Joseph. His music is a reflection of the places and people he’s met along his path in life. Their stories are told as a way of personal reflection on the experience, in a search for understanding. Always based on a version of the truth, occasionally romanticized to protect the guilty.
Robidoux Row Museum is located at 219 East Poulin at 3rd Street in North Saint Joseph.
Susan Werner’s songs cover genres from folk to rock, gospel and blues. Having grown up in the Midwest, Susan has made a name for herself in the music industry. She will also conduct a songwriting workshop in the afternoon and a public performance in the evening.
